The short answer
Legora publishes no pricing. Its /pricing address returns a 404 page and every purchase path on legora.com ends at a Book a demo form, checked on September 30, 2026. Legora sells annual seat licenses for its platform, and since late June 2026 it bills its most capable product, Agent Pro, by consumption instead of per seat. The standard Legora Agent is included for existing customers at no additional cost. Third-party buyer guides report roughly $3,000 per seat per year with a 10-seat minimum; Legora has not confirmed either figure.

Legora, Harvey and Clio Work checked on their own sites in September 2026. Westlaw and Lexis+ figures are the vendors' own online store and configurator rates for one attorney, the Protege row read on October 2, 2026. Midpage from midpage.ai/pricing on September 29, 2026.
| Tool | Published price | How you buy | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Legora (platform) | None published | Book a demo, annual seat licenses | None advertised |
| Legora Agent Pro | None published, billed by usage | Added to a Legora contract | None advertised |
| Harvey | None published | Request a demo | None advertised |
| Westlaw Advantage with CoCounsel Essentials | $519.35 to $639.20 a month, all states and federal | Online configurator, 1 to 10 attorneys | 7 days on Westlaw |
| Lexis+ with Protege | $495 to $595 a month on 3 years, $660 to $793 on 1 year, on a store version in testing since October 2026; the older page reads Pricing on request | LexisNexis store for 1 to 3 attorneys, sales above that | Free Trial button on the older page |
| Clio Work | Launched at $199 per user per month, now quote only | Trial or demo | 14 days |
| Midpage Professional | $100 a month, or $960 a year | Self-serve | Two weeks |
| CaseSearch | $49 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly | Self-serve | One demo run, no account |
Westlaw figures are one attorney, new customers, three year and one year terms. The Legora seat figure circulating online (about $3,000 per seat per year, 10 seats minimum) comes from third-party buyer guides, not from Legora, so it is not in this table. CaseSearch is a research tool, not legal advice.
How much does Legora cost?
Legora does not say. There is no pricing page (legora.com/pricing returns a 404 with the line "We assembled a task force of 15 lawyers, 3 paralegals, and one very, very nervous intern. Still no page."), no figure on the product or solutions pages, and no self-serve checkout. Every button that looks like a purchase is Book a demo.
The demo form tells you what the quote is built on. It asks for your name, work email, company, primary location, organisation type and number of lawyers. Seat count and firm type drive the price, which is typical for enterprise legal AI and the same way Harvey sells.
The number you will see repeated online is about 3,000 dollars per seat per year with a minimum of 10 seats, which would put the entry point near 30,000 dollars a year. That figure comes from third-party buyer guides and comparison pages, several of them written by competing vendors. Legora has not published it, so treat it as a starting assumption to test against your own quote, not as a list price.
Published price
None. The pricing URL is a 404.
How to buy
Book a demo form, then a sales-led quote.
Quote inputs
Location, organisation type, number of lawyers.
Reported figure
About $3,000 per seat per year, 10 seat minimum. Unconfirmed.
How does Legora Agent Pro pricing work?
Agent Pro is billed by consumption, not per seat. Legora announced the change alongside the Agent Pro launch in the last week of June 2026, and Law360 Pulse reported on June 26 that the company was now charging organizations based on usage rather than a flat subscription per user for that product. Legora's own post says customers "only pay for the work Agent Pro delivers."
The controls are the useful part for a firm budget. Legora describes a real-time dashboard that tracks consumption by organization, user or project, attribution of every run to a matter, admin thresholds and spending controls, and notifications before a limit is reached. That per-matter attribution matters if you intend to pass AI cost through to clients, which is exactly the question Law360's sources raised.
What Legora does not publish is the unit price. There is no rate per run, per task or per credit on its site. So a quote that includes Agent Pro is really two numbers: the seat licenses, and a usage estimate that depends on how hard your lawyers lean on the agent. Ask for both, in writing, with the cap.
Billing model
Consumption based, launched late June 2026.
Controls
Dashboard by user, project and organization, spend thresholds, alerts.
Matter attribution
Every run can be tied to a matter for client pass-through.
Unit price
Not published anywhere on legora.com.
Is the Legora Agent included in the subscription?
Yes, the standard Legora Agent is. Legora says it is "available to our customers at no additional cost and no changes to their existing contract terms." The Agent plans, executes, reviews and delivers multi-step work inside the platform, calling Tabular Review, Legal Research and Monitors as it goes.
The split to understand before signing is Agent versus Agent Pro. Agent is covered by your seats. Agent Pro runs on stronger frontier models and a new harness, and it is the one that meters. If your demo shows off end-to-end work such as a full due diligence pass across a data room, ask which of the two produced it, because that decides whether the same work costs nothing extra or runs up usage charges.
Legora Agent
Included for existing customers, no contract change.
Agent Pro
Metered by consumption on top of seats.
In the demo
Ask which agent produced each result you are shown.
What do you get for a Legora seat?
A Legora seat buys a workspace built for document-heavy legal work rather than a research database. The product list covers Word and Outlook add-ins, an Editor, a mobile app, Tabular Review for extracting answers across hundreds of documents into a grid, Workflows, Legal Research, a client Portal, regulatory Monitors, Lists and the Agent.
For US research, Legora says it covers federal law and all 50 states, with primary law hosted on the platform and cited to source, and it names Wolters Kluwer and SEC EDGAR among its US content partners. It does not claim a citator with editorial history in the way Westlaw KeyCite or Lexis Shepard's do. On security it lists ISO 42001, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR, US-based and EU-based technical staff, single sign-on, customer-managed encryption keys, and no training on customer data.
Legora also reports 1,790+ teams, 40+ markets and 90,000 lawyers on its customers page. Those are the vendor's own counts.
Strongest at
Tabular Review across large document sets, Word-based drafting, multilingual matters.
US research
Federal and 50 states, Wolters Kluwer and EDGAR among partners.
Security
ISO 42001, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, SSO, BYOK.
Not claimed
A citator comparable to KeyCite or Shepard's.
Is Legora cheaper than Harvey?
Probably, but neither company will show you. Harvey's pricing page also returns a 404 and it also sells through a demo form. The reported figures put Harvey well above Legora per seat and with a larger seat minimum, while Legora's reported entry point is about 10 seats. None of those numbers come from the vendors.
The honest way to compare them is to run both sales processes at the same time with the same seat count and the same list of matters you want to test, and to ask each for a written quote that separates seats, usage, implementation and support. In a category where nobody publishes prices, the competing written quote is the only benchmark you will have.
If you are a small US firm, notice who publishes a number at all. Thomson Reuters prices Westlaw Advantage with CoCounsel Essentials online for 1 to 10 attorneys at 519.35 to 639.20 dollars a month for all states and federal coverage. Midpage is 100 dollars a month. Those are real prices you can put next to a Legora quote.
Legora
Quote only, reported about 10 seat minimum.
Harvey
Quote only, reported larger minimum.
Published alternatives
Westlaw with CoCounsel $519.35 to $639.20, Midpage $100.
Best leverage
Two written quotes, same seat count, same test matters.
What should you get in writing before signing a Legora contract?
Legora contracts are annual, and the usage component makes the total less predictable than a flat seat deal. Before you sign, get the following into the order form rather than an email: the per-seat price and the minimum seat count; whether Agent Pro is included, and if so the usage rate, the monthly cap and what happens when you hit it; implementation, onboarding and support fees; the renewal price or the cap on renewal increases; and whether seats can be reduced at renewal.
Ask one more question that small firms often skip: which US jurisdictions and sources are included in Legal Research for your seats, and whether any content partner is an extra. Research coverage is where a document platform and a research tool differ most.
Seats
Price per seat, minimum seats, reduction rights at renewal.
Usage
Agent Pro rate, monthly cap, overage behavior.
Fees
Implementation, onboarding, support, in the order form.
Coverage
Which US sources and jurisdictions your seats include.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Legora for case law research?
Yes, if research is the job. Legora earns its price on document work: reviewing a data room, building a pleadings matrix, drafting in Word across languages. A lot of US lawyers pricing it want something narrower, which is to find the decisions that control a question and confirm they still stand.
CaseSearch does that one job. You ask a legal question in plain English and get on-point federal and state decisions, each with its citation, the holding in plain language and a good-law signal. It costs 49 dollars a month month to month, or 24 a month billed yearly, which is 288 dollars a year for one lawyer. You can run one real question at the top of this page with no account and no demo call.
CaseSearch does not review data rooms, draft in Word or run agents across your documents. If those are why you are talking to Legora, Legora is the better fit. If the research is what you need, it costs a small fraction of a 10 seat platform contract here.
Choose Legora
Large document reviews, multilingual matters, Word-based drafting at firm scale.
Choose Westlaw or Lexis+
A full library, secondary sources and a mature citator.
Choose CaseSearch
Cited, current case law for $24 to $49 a month.
